Last night it looked like Dwayne Wade took a time machine to the Wells Fargo Center in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. He had a vintage performance Monday night by scoring 28 points, 7 rebounds and 3 assists. According to ESPN the 28 points is the most point from a player coming off the bench in Miami Heat franchise history. Wade also leads the Miami Heat in carrer games leading the Heat with the most point with 75. The Heat beat the heavily favorite 76ers in Game Two 113-103 to tie their first round series at 1-1.
The 36 years-old Wade had one of his best games in years. Espn’s Ramona Shelburne asked Wade after the game “What got into him Tonight?” With a straight face Wade said “Thank Kevin Hart for that.”
At first Shelburne appeared to think it was a joke, but Wade was serious. Kevin Hart is a native of Philadelphia and a huge Sixers fan. He was geared up in the 76ers warm up jersey sitting next to 76ers legend and Basketball Hall of Famer Allen Iverson. Hart and Wade are known friends, they even attended each other’s weddings.
At halftime the Heat was up big and Wade was seen glaring down the comedian walking off the court at the Intermission. As the Sixers was trying to make a comeback, Wade turned back into Flash and made clutch play after play including a huge steal to put a hault on the Philly comeback. Then he made the game clinching jumper late in the game and stared down Hart.
The best trash talking was after the gme on Twitter. First Kevin Hart tweeted “ See you in Miami @DwayneWade…It’s not over”
Well, D Wade responded back on Twitter “You can’t come to Miami”
Then 3 minutes later he tweetwd “ Never talking ish to the great A.I. That’s all for Kevin Hart”
